My alta won't not sync with my samsung galaxy s6. I've tried turning off Bluetooth and phone and then on again and tried restarting alta

Is location turned on? (GPS)? As with a change that google made in Android 6.0.. it's required to turn on locations to be able to sync*.

 

*If you are running OS 6.0 (Marshmallow), please note that Google has changed the permissions required for Bluetooth syncing. You must turn on location services to sync your tracker (Settings > Location). For more information about the latest Google permission requirements, see Google's Android 6.0 Changes document.

Welcome to our Community @Zoerenee! It's great having you here! Man HappyI noticed @SunsetRunner was really kind in providing you with great suggestions to resolve this. I'd like to add that you also need to make sure your Internet and Bluetooth connection are working correctly. Also, try following the steps provided in this thread.
