My Alta stopped syncing with my Samsung 8 after an update on 5/24/2018. I have tried the suggestions posted, but it still won't sync. Any other suggestions?

Hi there @Judy_flo, good to see you around and thank you for posting in the Fitbit Community! I saw you are having troubles to sync after the update, regardless of the troubleshooting steps you have tried.

Not sure which version do you have or what troubleshooting steps you have tried already. However there was a new version recently that it wouldn't hurt to review if you have installed already. For more details please review this post.

If have already this version, usually I like to recommend a reset on the app doing the following steps:

log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. (This may vary depending of the Android device and the OS version)

Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

If the issue continue, perhaps the steps of this article will give you some extra help: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hope this helps to get you back on track.
