Dare I ask if there are any compatibility issues between 10 and the Fitbit app?

I only bought my Fitbit (Alta HR) after the Android 10 update. Everything works well (including phone call alerts), except for the text message updates. Those haven't worked at all for me.

Can we mark this Unsolved, since text notifications are still not working for many people it looks like after updating to Android 10 on Pixel devices?
We've all done the basics (reboot fitbit and phone, uninstall/reinstall the app, unpair/repair, turn bluetooth off/on, etc, etc).
I'm still not receiving text notifications. Other app notifications do seem to work though.

Hi everyone! I'm sorry for the late response. I'm also sorry to hear about the issues you've experienced with your Google Pixel devices. I totally understand how you feel and I appreciate your feedback.
I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved already. In the meantime, please check out if the app is up to date. You can check this by going to the Play Store. I appreciate your patience and time with this.
Looking forward to your response.

The issue still persists, and I have not seen an update to the app since 8/30. I am using a Pixel 2 and Fitbit Flex 2.

Yes, I'm on the latest version. I have auto updates on.

The issue still persists for me (on a Pixel 2 with the Alta HR), and yes, I have the latest version of the Fitbit app, 3.5.

Hi,
Unfortunately still having the texting issue as described by everyone on the thread. Yes, both the app and the firmware are up to date.
Thanks!

Both myself and one of my coworkers are experiencing the same issues on our Pixel 3 devices. She is using an Alta, and I have a Fitbit Charge 3 Special Edition.

Issue still exists on Pixel 3, Charge 2 and current app. Additionally my Pixel seems to now struggle with finding my Charge 2, my step counts no long reliably update without intervention and the device will display inaccurate time - which will correct if I manually force a sync. I've done the Fitbit restart multiple times along with the Bluetooth stop/reboot/restart sequence. I have NOT removed and reinstalled the app - will try that next.

I have the latest firmware, Fitbit app, and OS patch level. I've tried everything that has been suggested at least once. No change - still no text notifications, phone notifications are for random old phone numbers. I've considered going back to wearing a regular wristwatch and giving up, but I like the silent alarms, and those take some trial and error to get to synch.

I have the original pixel on android 10 and a brand new ionic. Unable to even connect to my phone... is constantly asking for the code and then "Not Working?" endless cycle.

It seems that version 3.6 of the android app is out on Play Store.
Maybe this update fixes some of the issues you have?

Mine updated overnight. Hopefully it will perform better. It "seems" I got
some improvement yesterday by an uninstall/reinstall but it's a bit hard to
evaluate. At least my Fitbit had the correct time this morning.

I updated to 3.6 and haven't seen any improvement. Still no text message notifications, and phone notifications still show the previous number. I also uninstalled the app, removed the Fitbit from Bluetooth, rebooted the phone and the Fitbit, and reinstalled everything, and still no improvement.

Pixel 2 / Flex 2: Updated the app, followed all troubleshooting steps, still experiencing the same issue with text notifications not coming through.

I have a Google xl2 and a Fitbit Ionic. They won't sync. I can get the 4 digit passcode on my Ionic but when I enter it into the app it tries to connect for a long time but never works.

I no longer receive text nor phone call notifications.
It's unclear to me if this really began with the "revised" Fitbit app, or
Android 10. I didn't even realize it was (or wasn't) happening for a while.
My first big clue was when I found the time on my Fitbit was off several
minutes.

Another update (v3.6.1) was released on Friday, but the issue still persists. As usual, I have gone through all the same troubleshooting steps.
