@Sutty86 h that is good, have you tried kogou of the app, clear storage cache and force stop it, then restart both, just to make sure.
When you login again, go to the phone home screen without closing the App, click the sync popup and wait for the pair or link prompts.
If that doesn't work you can also try removing the Bluetooth entries for the watch and do "+ Set up a Device" and replace, that may help.
