My Fitbit Alta was working fine until Samsung pushed the Android 9.0 operating system update through. I am able to get the Fitbit to synch with the phone, however I am no longer receiving notifications on the Fitbit.  Please help, this is super frustrating.  Thanks!

Hello @Tabby82.

Thanks for sharing those details and sharing that you are able to sync with your Fitbit.

In this case I'd like to recommend that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article. They should definitely help so that you start getting notifications on your Fitbit.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you for sharing this information.  However I have followed these steps multiple times, and spent 3 hours on the phone with Customer Service also doing the stame steps.  Customer Service informed me this is a known issue for android phones that started when the dashboard in the FitBit app was updated. Unfortunately there is no ETA on when the app will be udpated to correct this issue. The issue has been reported to the app developers. However there is no issue with the Iphone users of the app.
