Just got an update to my android app to version 3.6. All that is listed it in the change log is, "Bug fixes and performance improvements". Download on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. So far so good. Ionic still syncing up properly and no crashes.

Some good news. I went into the Fitbit App and found that the "settings" app on my watch needed to be updated. After this I went into the Fitbit App settings in Android settings, stopped the app,  cleared the cache and the data. I then relaunched the App and reconfigured it (most settings carried forward). After this WhatsApp notifications started working.

Some not so good news. Syncing stopped today at 14.39 without notification. Only noticed 9 hours later. Nothing that involves sync is working. Tried a manual sync in the app and it fails pretty quick with a red exclamation mark. After launching the app I'm now getting the android 'fitbit sync service - last synced at... ' notification. Tapping on this shows me this screen.

Clicking Okay just takes me into the app. Force stopping

the app and restarting it has kicked sync back into life. So that lasted barely 2 days.

Have you been able to get them to work?  I've talked with FitBit and they are "aware of the issue and working to resolve".  We should wait for an in app message or update.

I'm running on V 3.6.1 and no issues.

Are you reporting this on 3.6 ?

My Fitbit app was updated to v3.6.1, and then I reset the data of the app and re-defined all the apps I want to receive notifications from. At the beginning I didn't receive notifications from all the apps, and notifications from some apps slowly started working on my watch as the time passed by.

Cannot explain this behaviour, but now all notifications seem to be working fine.

I'm running 3.6.1.  Updated on the 16th and immediately notifications stopped working.  I've tried everything with no improvement.

I've tried deleting all cache...may try deleting app and reinstalling.  I'm on 3.6.1.  SO FRUSTRATED.  Even went and bought Versa 2 to see if that was the problem.

Mine stopped syncing again 24 hours ago and I didn't notice until this morning. I was getting my previous screen shot again (about reconnecting my fitbit) when trying to get it to sync in the app. Restarted my Versa, didn't fix it. Only way was to restart my phone to kick the app back into life.

All my problems started with my upgrade to 3.6.1. I'm on Android 9.0 with a Versa 1.

@Lox333 great info.  I talked to FitBit customer service earlier this AM and they told me to turn off notifications, forget device on bluetooth, restart phone and then add notifications back and sync on bluetooth.  None of the above worked.  Just now removed app and reinstalled and it is working for the first time in over a week!

None of that ever works for me, only reinstalling it works for me. It's complete rubbish!

Only reinstalling it seems to work.
