My android app appears to have been updated 3 days ago (6/27/2020). Since then, I have had the following NEW issues that I did not have before.
- The resulting map from GPS on a 2.5 mile route I have walked over 60 times is suddenly a 1/4 mile shorter. That's a 10% reduction and is a concern.
- The resulting map from GPS does not accurately reflect the curvature of the trail like it used to. There are straight lines from various points that are not in alignment with the path walked.
- The average pace has been increased by 3 minutes! When I first noticed this increase (slow down) in average pace, I forced myself to walk even faster. But the pace went even higher after the increase in speed. The pace should have dropped, but it did not.
- Two out of the last three walks have stopped tracking via GPS without any warning. The Exercise was still active on the Fitbit. But the resulting map was only marked halfway. I always walk in a loop, and the map didn't not even track half of that loop. My distance was not accurately captured, also.
Whatever was included in that update introduced new bugs that are related to GPS performance. The primary reason for choosing a Fitbit Charge 4 was for the built-in GPS. Please fix this.
