Android App won't Sync

I got my Fitbit Charge January of 2016 as a promotional from Verizon. I have loved my Fitbit. The app has always lagged a bit when syncing, specifically when it came to active minutes. Also the GPS on the exercise portion of the app was WAY off it wasn't even funny so I never used that.

Last Tuesday, 3/15/2016, after the last update, my app will not sync with my Charge. I did all of the Troubleshooting stuff. Didn't work. I tested it to see what would happen if I changed the clock on my Charge from the desktop and tried to sync it. The clock changed! I didn't sync it from the computer. I used the app, but the app wasn't syncing to my Charge with anything other the other stuff, such as steps, miles, etc.

So I tried again 3/19/2016, after restarting the Fitbit 3 times, it finally synced. That was the only time it worked till today, 3/22/2016. It just synced at 8:00 pm. The app says it synced at 1:26 pm. I just want the app to work.

Hello @KristineAD and welcome to our Fitbit Community!

Regard the active minutes keep in mind that will not be the same as the time of your exercise. Essentially active minutes are a measurement of time spent doing activity that is more intense than regular walking. If you are seeing a difference on active minutes your tracker detect subtle differences in exertion that may explain why two seemingly identical activities result in different active minute totals.

About the GPS note that it will depend of the signal of the GPS of your phone. THis feature is called MobileRun and what it does it to use If you use your tracker while using this feature, all your basic stats like steps, calories, etc; that you see on your Fitbit dashboard will be recorded by your tracker. Otherwise your phone is used to calculate the rest of your data.
