I was hoping the new version of this Fitbit app that came out on the 8th is going to fix the Bluetooth problem with Android phones? It seems my phone won't stay connected via Bluetooth. By visiting some of the forms it seems to be a common problem. Hope it's fixed I guess time will tell I just downloaded the new version of the app
I just walked away out of range with my phone and when I came back to the phone it didn't auto reconnect. Wondering why?

@Roger1960 Welcome to the forums. Thanks for reaching out about the Bluetooth connection between your smartphone and your Fitbit device.
Thanks for the explanation. Please note that many factors come into play when we talk about syncing. Which smartphone do you have? In case it is an Android, I recommend the following articles:
- Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
- Why does the Fitbit app need to run in the background on my Android phone?
Here you find tips and suggestions for syncing. Make sure that the Fitbit app is allowed to run in the background. Thanks in advance.
