Android Community Tab / Scrolling Issue

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've noticed in the latest version of the Android version of the app (2.55 - 2193155), under the Community tab, if you tap on the "comment" button, or tap on a profile from the main feed, then tap the back button to return back to the feed, the entire feed scrolls back to the top. This can be severely annoying if you are far down in the feed, but view comments on a post, then go back, because you will find that the feed has scrolled back to the top. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Hello @SunsetRunner, nice to see you again here in the Fitbit Community! I tried to replicate the scenario you are describing, however I was not able to obtain the same results.

To address this issue you can try the following instructions to reset and clear the cache of the app.

Let me know if this helps. See you later!

I removed the app entirely and reinstalled and also ensured that the app cache and data were cleared.  This did not resolve the issue.  This happens under "Community" / with either "Feed" or "Groups" (after selecting a specific group).  I can tap a person's photo (to view their profile) on a post, or click comment on a post.  When I click the back arrow at the top, or the Android back button, the feed always scrolls back to the very top.

Please note that this issue only started happening with the latest version of the app (2.55).  Did not happen in previous versions.
