The Android Fitbit widget only shows step count even after I've updated my primary goal to be active minutes. This makes it pretty useless for anyone relying on active minutes to track exercise that isn't included in steps (i.e. cycling).
When adding the widget the name specifically says primary goal so this does seem like a bug/unintended behavior.

I have the same issue on a Pixel 6 Pro. Also the widget UI is quite dated looking and can use a material you redesign.

Happening to me as well on google pixel 6 pro. Widget is effectively useless.

I have the same issue. Seems to be recent, as this used to work for me.
