Android app no longer shows map of bike ride

Two days ago when I went on a bike ride with my phone it showed the map of my ride perfectly. Yesterday's bike ride recorded all the other data but did not show a map. I know the phone recorded it as Google Fit shows it just fine. Why would the map not be showing on the Fitbit app ? I have a Charge 2.

Looks like quite a few of us are having the same problems. I track my walks within the app and although it shows up when I finish the activity if you go in a little later it's disappeared. Totally frustrating, they need to fix this glitch quick. After this mornings activity disappeared I'm going to start tracking the walks on runkeeper again.

I have had this same issue for a couple of months as well.

 

I run, track the run with Charge2/GPS on phone. Finish my run, map is there (I've even been screenshotting it as it seems to be disappearing), then when I navigate away and back (I assume after app syncs with fitbit) map/distance are gone.

 

This is quite frustrating as I am working on my distance running, without the app tracking my distances, what is the point??

 

could we please get an insight on what is happening and when it is going to be fixed?
