Android can't detect the security features

I just upgraded my phone to Android 11 and now my Fitbit will not keep my phone unlocked - I went to the Trusted Device page and it says that the new Android can't detect the security features ... but it's been working for years now.  So why is Google not trusting Fitbit any more?  Do they know something but are not telling people about the Fitbit security issue?

Stating the obvious, also common sense, no kidding 5G and bluetooth are NOT the same. My fitbit says wifi off. My phone is 5G, if I go to using 2.4 problem dissolves versa2 change wifi off and the ip address is there life is great again I already dealt with my wifi provider since out of my home no problem stays in address works fine setting wifi connection in app to my 2.4 um fitbit doesn't run 5g duh, it still over rides so to speak causing wifi off. A moderate posted a way to get it corrected trying to find it finish what he shared due to chaos flooding inboxes from community and yes already had removed all but one still same way. Much more useful if people would post fixes issues etc instead of stating a comment thats already known from someone's post feel important?? Maybe with nothing further to correct issues just adding to frustration as well as difficulty getting to people that being productive helping resolve extremely number of issues. Thank you time. Hello @EdmundC this sounds like an Android issue, not a Google problem.

Do you see any devices to choose as trusted?

Your subscription sounds like a problem with the security features of the phone.

I've noticed lately that the phone keeps licking at my house, even though this is a trusted location.

It trusted my car, an old Ford Explorer.- I'm seeing a lot of issues with Android 10 now, it's just a messy version of Android with security stupidity all over the place so I suspect it's Android that's the problem, not the FitBit.

You are incorrect. Fitbit compatibility is the issue. 5G has a very hard
struggle for Fitbit compatibility, one they have yet to over come. Even
with newer and of course price much higher than the Versa 2, loved it.
Spread of 5G as well as better systems to be compatible, NOT just Android
10, tables laptops, all 5he changes across the board, Fitbit is still
behind the 8ball for the first time. I researched with Finally after over 7
weeks, as well as high ranking IT military, in various stations. It is not
Android. Android is not perfect has struggles, everything does. But this
isn't their issue.

5G is a phone service, it's not a Fitbit feature - Fitbit communicates from the phone to the device via Bluetooth, not 5G.  That's simple but everyone's phone and apps get "updated" all the time and that can affect the data transfer in many different ways.  Essentially it's a very complex environment so there are plenty of areas for bugs to affect various aspect of the devices.  Since Android 10 arrived I'm seeing a lot more daily "bug fixes" called updates.

First post I have seen, since I attempted, community wide, regardless of
device etc. Also, fastest "FITBIT" EVER! Inaccurate as it was, that a
"Fitbit Bot" posted. The 1st time 2019, I attempted, not reliable,
efficient, nor accurate help was available. The issues that plagued me
also plagued all fitbit users. Not to disappoint, Fitbit was the same with
ya'll also, to do it without wasting my time further. Thank you Fitbit
Community!!!! I want to share simple, clear steps, that anyone can apply to
their specifics, ie. Android, IOS, versions, devices. Etc. If it wasn't for
so many of us in this community, I wouldn't have succeeded. Keep sharing in
our community all of us. Whether its everyone's doing great, no issues, to
the first difficulty that starts. Do not wait for it to be so bad and we
are upset. Be proactive with sharing allows for quicker resolutions

5G has nothing to do with Bluetooth.

No mention of which tracker model but the newer ones are BT ver 5.

However GPS will not work indoors, it is a line of sight technology, and walking in place without GPS will give a distance based on steps*stride.
