My phone has version 6.0.1 is it compatible with the latest Fitbit version. I haven't been able to sync with me phone since the new dashboard went live. I have to first sync to my Kindle Fire which still has the old dashboard, then my phone will sync. Any thoughts on this issue?
Thanks!
Fay

Yeah no longer syncs at all. Have already uninstalled the app. Going to reinstall if that doesn't work I will find a different brand of tracker. Not willing to play stupid games or constantly have to update things to get it to work. If you guys cannot figure this out maybe another company can.

@Celticck77 I did all those things too. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and did at least two restarts on the tracker. I contacted the chat help and they are going to replace my tracker with another of the same model. I will give this a try and post again. I've been rather disappointed with Fitbit since the upgrade to the new dashboard.

The new dash is not fit for purpose for many of us. I reinstalled the old and it syncs smoothly and swiftly every time, unlike the new. It also has more functionality.

to wait for the replacement and see if it will talk to my phone. It's
frustrating to have to replace a tracker every year. I think they should
last for three years before replacement is necessary. Just my opinion.
Thanks for trying to help!

Sorry not to be more help.
I think, to many of us, they've stopped hearing their customers. Shame.

Downloading the first random APK file you find on Google is extremely dangerous and you'll have to relax your phones security to do it. Really. Don't do that.

@braindigitalis No worries! My husband immediately said I shouldn't accept a apk from the internet. So it was a no go for me. I am impatiently waiting for my replacement tracker. It seems if I uninstall the app, wait about 10 minutes or so, reinstall the app it will sync, but the next time I want to sync I have to go through the whole process again. As I said, waiting for the replacement.
