Trying to get the widget to show me my distance. It's set as my primary goal but the widget will only show me calories burned. Anyone else had this issue?
Running on Pixel 5 with latest OS and using Fitbit from a pixel watch

I truly hope that your response Rodrigo is more accurate than the one from the other moderator above. It's easy to assume that those of us who have identified the issue and asked about it here at but the tip of the iceberg of those experiencing it. And the earlier response that they are aware but have no immediate plans to look into a fix is so strange. Especially as the two "moving parts" as it were of the phone widget and the watch seem only vaguely connected. Such a shame to lose such a useful feature to an odd coding bug.
I hope so because I am also having the same issues.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for keep adding your comments to report this issue with your primary goal widget on your phone. Please keep your phone and Fitbit app on your watch updated. Since this has helped other users. Note: recently we released Android Fitbit app 3.70. You can also make sure to check that detail.
Then try the following steps in that order:
Hope this helps.

Best AnswerExactly the same for me. Tried everything I can think of. The main goal app on the watch also shows calories (which is useless as I don't track food!) So annoying as I've used FitBit for years and love having the step count on my phone so it's easy to see.

@Pmr87 Thanks for letting us know that it is working with the latest app update. That is great!
@artigat1 Welcome to the forums. It seems the latest app version has resolved this. It started rolling out recently. If you still have not gotten the update nor does it show on the app store, please give it a while. The releases reach users gradually. I appreciate your patience.
Have a nice day!
Best AnswerHi, I also have an issue with the Fitbit main goal Android widget. I want to see the Active Zone Minutes goal in the widget (which is set as the main goal on my watch), but it only shows the steps goal.
When I change the main goal to calories or distance as described in this thread, it correctly updates the widget to that main goal, but for active zone minutes it always shows the steps goal (for steps goal obviously also steps widget). On my watch the widget correctly shows the active zone minutes, but on my Android phone it shows the steps (or distance/calories when I set those goals). Is this a known issue?
Google Pixel Watch + Google Pixel 7 Pro with latest Fitbit version 3.72.
The not showing Active Zone Minutes in the widget is still a problem in app version 3.83.
Inspire 3, Pixel 6a phone, Android 13
