I'm trying to re-set up the Alexa voice assistant on my Versa 4 by way of the Android app and the App Gallery does not appear to be available through the Fitbit Android app any longer. I saw a few people posting about Fitbit's decision to do away with apps. Have they really decided to shoot themselves in the foot that way? I've had a Fitbit for years, but it seems like they've done away with a great deal of functionality and I'm beginning to question if it's time to switch to something else. I just want to be able to use the tracker as a smart watch and not just a tracker that can keep time (or else advertise it as what it is please, Fitbit).
