App causing wifi to drop

The wifi on my Samsung Galaxy J4plus showed an authentication error occurred message every time I try to use app. Used to work fine but it's only been the last month had issues. I know it's not my phone as just had new motherboard installed to try to rectify.  Was advised if issue kept occurring it would be app.

I regret to hear that you are having difficulties with the wifi on your Samsung Galaxy J4plus.

 

Whether you haven't done it, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app. If you continue having the same problem, please attach a screen shot of the authentication error.

 

In addition, please let me know if the problem occurs when you just open the app or when you perform a particular action.
