When inside the fitbit app on my phone (Galaxy s10+) and go to the App notification section to select which apps i want notifications from. I can only scroll down so far before the app crashes ? i can only scroll down as far as the fitbit coach notifications before it jumps out back to the Ionic screen ? This was also occurring with my s9 and i assumed it would be fixed by now but i cant seem to find any info on this issue in this forum. Someone please help. Thankyou in advance.

I only use the battery saver apps built in to the OS. I did sit down and went through all my apps and uninstalled those ones i had not used for a while, then checked again and Problem gone (just wish i knew which one was causing it). Now for the first time since i've owned the fitbit, the app work perfectly. Thank-you so much for your help and patience with me (i really didn't think we would find a solution).
Best Regards Brett

Hello @Beatle1637.
Thanks for sharing those screenshots and bringing that up.
In this case I'd like to ask if the app in installed on the phone's internal storage or on an external drive. If it is installed in an external drive let's try moving it into the phone's memory. You can do so by following these steps:
After moving it, the app should no longer crash like that.
If it is already installed in the phone's internal memory let me know.
Look forward to your reply.

Hello @Beatle1637.
Thanks for letting me know that it is on the internal memory.
Let's try uninstalling the app and then installing it once again. If something was not installed properly this could fix the situation and let the app load correctly and not crash when you are scrolling through that section.
Please also let me know if this is happening with any other section of the app or not.
Look forward to your reply.

I uninstalled and reinstalled. Still same result. Also want to say it doesn't crash right out of the app just falls back to the previous screen. I ran through all the other sections and it works fine, although i didn't see any sections that required to scroll the screen.
i had the same issue with my previous phone S9 Galaxy. I'm wondering if its an app that i have installed that's causing this ? As when i upgraded phones i just transferred everything via smart switch. It's just strange no-one else has had this issue.

Hello @Beatle1637.
Thanks for sharing all those details and trying to reinstall the app.
It is possible that something is causing the issue. Are you using an battery saving apps or apps designed to make your device 'faster'? Those could have to do with what is going on.
Let me know if there are any further questions.

Hello @Beatle1637.
Glad to read that it seems to be working correctly now!
Do not thank me, you did all of the work. I was merely around to help you bounce ideas.
It could be that one of those apps was taking up to much RAM on the phone if it was supposed to work in the background. Whatever it was, glad to know that it is gone.
If you have the time, be sure to visit one of our Discussion boards. Lots of different topics to talk about with other users.

Hi. I've tried all these steps and it still does this. If I try and log an exercise or activity it crashes the app entirely. Any help would be awesome

Welcome to the Forums @Qu1nn3y.
Thanks for bringing this details up and trying all of the steps that have been recommended.
In this case, I'd like to ask you what phone is it that you are using and if you are getting some sort of error message when the app crashes.
I look forward to your reply.

I am having a very similar issue.
I have been using a Blaze with a windows phone (950), and it has been working perfectly.
Yesterday, I took delivery of an Oppo RX 17 Pro running the very latest version of Android.
When I try to access either the Notifications or clock face sections within the app, a blank white window opens for a few seconds, fails to load, and returns to the previous window.
Im very well versed with technology, so have done all the dozens of restarts, re instals etc etc.
The problem persists,

Here is something that might help, I have an Oppo rx17 Pro...
When I look in Settings/Security/Permissions/Read SMS .... There is only Skype showing, and there is no way to add another app. In all other areas, Fitbit has been set to Allowed.
Interestingly, on two occasions, but only briefly, the Notification window did open, but not for long enough to allow any adjustments.
