Hi everyone! Since few weeks ago my fitbit app doesn't recognise my walks in the exercise section. It memorises steps, duration and calories but it doesn't show it as an exercise as it used to do before. Also, it registers some ellip5sessions which I never have! Do you have any idea why and how to fix the problem? Thanks!

Hello @Gin7884, let me give you a warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! Certainly this is an odd behavior from the tracker if it was recognizing your walks before. Based on this scenario I'm wondering if have tried a restart? If you haven't tried it yet, please follow this instructions to address the issue you are experiencing: How to restart your Charge 2?

 

About the elliptical sessions, are you doing an activity that could resemblance this pattern? Note that this sessions are entirely based on the movement, so it is possible your tracker is reading this sessions by mistake, in either case the restart should address this issue too.

thank you RobertoFitbit. I restarted my fitbit and it seems that it started to recognize the walks again. No news about the elliptical session yet, but hopefully everything is back to normal now!
