On a Pixel 8 Pro with latest Android and updates, data isn't synced periodically. I have to open the app and manually sync. Background usage is enabled, all permissions granted. Versa 4.
After manually syncing, it takes a minute or two for the home screen to update with current stats too. I could live with that if I didn't have to manually sync all the time.
