Badge Counts on App and Web Dashboard

Do the badge counts top end in the Fitbit app at 1029?

I like to keep track of how often I'm able to get to a certain step level. I found using the badge counts to be a perfect way to do that, however I've notice a difference in the counts when I look at the same badge in the Android App vs. the Dashboard. The dashboard is more accurate but I think it's shy by a couple of days as well.

The count in the dashboard shows 1057 while the App shows 1029. Both show the correct last earned date.

Hello @GSaldiveri.

Thanks for sharing your feedback and those screenshots.

Could you share a screenshot of the badges information on the web Dashboard? That should help us better understand what is going on.

Look forward to your reply.

Hello @GSaldiveri.

Thanks for that clarification.

Allow me to clarify what I meant too. I meant to say a picture where you can see the 1057 you mentioned since the one on the left doesn't show on the picture on the left.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

@LanuzaFitbit- actually, if you look to the left, I do have the mouse hovering over the badge and the count is showing above it. But if you are looking at it on a cell phone or a small tablet you might not be able to see it,

Here's an updated one from this morning and I have two screen snapshots from the App so you can see it didn't advance the count but does show the correct last earned date.

Hello @GSaldiveri.

Thanks for letting me know. I completely missed that it was visible on the top picture.

Let's try to log out on both ends and then log back in. That should help so all of the information is downloaded from the servers.

If that doesn't work, let's try to uninstall the app and then install the app again and see if the information improves.

Look forward to your reply.

@LanuzaFitbit-  Logging in and out doesn't change anything but deleting the app data did. I deleted all cache and data then synced and all the badge counts were correct.

*** BUT ***

Looking at it this morning again, all the badges in the app are now 1 short of what is showing on the dashboard. I did a 50k day yesterday and every badge from 5k to 50k shows 1 count short in the app but the last earned date is correct.

Hello @GSaldiveri.

Thanks for sharing those details on the matter.

I'd like to ask some further questions:

  • What phone is it that you are using?
  • What Android phone are you running?

Glad to read that it seems to be closer to the accurate number! Let's try to figure out how to make sure it is completely accurate.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
