The barcode scanner for food entry seems to have disappeared from 3.31. Am I missing something? Also, how do I go back to the old interface?

Hi @Ilnadi, welcome to the Community Forums! It's a pleasure to assist you with your inquiries, sorry for the delay in responding your post.
I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. Please keep in mind that at this time, barcode scanning is only available for customers using the United States food database. If you use another food database, the barcode scanning option won't work. To check which food database you're using, see How do I change my food database?
To find the bar code option, please follow the next steps:
- From the Today tab
tap the
icon on the food tile.
- On Android phones (OS 6.0+), make sure you allow the Fitbit app to access requested features on your phone. For more information, see What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?
- Tap the barcode icon and place your item's entire barcode in the scanning area. If your item is in our database, you'll see a summary. Otherwise, you'll see the option to submit it.
- Adjust the quantity and save.
Also, let me share that at this moment it's not possible to go back to the old dashboard design. Note that with our new app experience you can access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized. To learn more about it, please check: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Keep me posted.
