Food barcodes are not registered when I try to add to my daily food intake. Does this have something to do with the country I'm in? Which is Australia.

Hi

Moved this thread from the Alta to the Android App section as it gets more attention here.

Welcome to the forums ! It's great to see you here. Smiley Happy

I'd like to mention that Food Scanning is available at the moment only for our US Food database. You can certainly vote and comment to add an international food database to Fitbit in our Feature Requests page.

In the meantime I recommend to link your Fitbit Profile to MyFitnessPal which has users all over the world and a huge database, including an international  barcode scanner and recipe builder.

They are supported both through a computer as well as through most Smartphones. You can get more information on this page.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions Cat Very Happy

We've been asking for this to be added for over a year and still no comment or action by Fitbit.

Hi @RobertoME
I have already posted in that suggestion thread (several times) but we are not seeing anything from Fitbit in that thread. Some sort of response in there would be useful as users are getting fed up with a lack of communication especially given how long people have been asking for this feature.

Thanks for your comments @LanuzaFitbut but this isn't the thread that needs comment from Fitbit, that would be the one that @RobertoME and @HelenaFitbit send people to which has had no comment from Fitbit since it started over a year ago.

@HairyFred Thanks for getting back! I would like to follow up on the suggestion concern. The feature suggestion is being reviewed by our developers and engineering team. It also has my vote and hope our engineering team take it into consideration and add it.

Let me know if more questions arise my friend! Smiley Happy
