ZTE K88 Tablet Stopped Syncing

This morning I opened the Fitbit app on my K88 tablet to sync it as I do every morning. But, it didn't sync, and it showed that it last synced at 10:38 last night.  When I tapped on the Sync Now, a light pink line appeared with text in it, but it disappeared before I could read it. I tried to sync it multiple times, and got the same result.   I grabbed my phone and opened the Fitbit app, and it instantly synced the tracker.

After some troubleshooting with the K88 tablet, I discovered that Location Services had gotten disabled. I have no idea how it got disabled, since it was working just before I went to bed, but it wasn't working when I got up. Apparently some app updated overnight and disabled the location services. I re-enabled Location Services on the tablet, and when I re-opened the Fitbit app and it synced the tracker instantly.

Hi there @USAF-Larry, thank you for sharing this with us and as you mentioned before, some updates can disable configurations on your phone. The bright side is that you re able to sync again with your tablet. As you know due to Google permissions requirements for Bluetooth syncing, is require to turn on location services to sync your tracker. For more information about the latest Google permission requirements, see Google's Android 6.0 Changes document.

See you around and keep participating. You have been of great help for a lot of users in our Community.
