Since the last update of the fitbit app for Android I have noticed that the fitbit app is using a lot of battery power. I was once able to get over a day of battery life. Now I am in need of charging constantly.
Also I have noticed that the app seem to use a lot of data. 1.17GD of data was used in just under a month. That seems excessive for an app like this.

I am having the same exact issue. I normally have great battery life, but it is currently draining my second charge of the day and my battery monitor is stating that 20% of the drain is coming from the FitBit app.
