In case you haven't worked it out, for those of you who, like me, really relied on the feature in the old software showing the percentage of battery life remaining, here is the very poor replacement. From the Home screen on the app, select the Phone and watch symbol in the top left of screen. Then select the device you have. All you get is low, medium, full. No percentage. I know, rubbish right. The new software has brought in the need for more key depressions, not great for my arthritic fingers, to get less information. I don't often say this but the people who designed the new software need firing.

Best AnswerI hope it shows up on android soon. I checked for updates. None yet. It looks good on your screen shot.

Hello everyone.
That is correct. With the last app update the battery indicator in percentage is back on the "Today" tab. Please note that app updates are released in waves. Soon everyone will receive the update. Note that both Android and iOS apps have been updated. It is just a matter of time until you get the new version. I appreciate your patience.
So, Google has bought Fitbit. Removed all sorts of appreciated functionality of the Fitbitbit app. And now are bringing it in steps back again ? What a waste of time!. Just keep what was good seems better ?
I just can't believe it! Enormous ritch earners don't know **ahem**!
The battery percentage is so small and the colour do pale on my fitbit Charge 5 that I usually have to pull out a magnifying glass to see it. Much happier with the old fitbit app version.
Please put the battery level percentage indicator back on the app. It was stupid to remove it. I can barely see the numbers on the small Luxe that show battery level. Why in the world would any programmer remove it?
Just checked google playstore. There still isn't an update for android. I guess we live in an iWorld.
Best Answer@anykey and @Tcarnazza this morning I got the November 29 update to the Fitbit app for Android and battery percentage is back! If that update hasn't yet rolled out to you yet, it should be available in the near future.

Best AnswerMy app updated this am and the % indicator is back!! thanks to the software crew for the update.
Best AnswerMy Inspire 2 app has shown the battery percentage for a few weeks, but my husband still does not have his. I have a theory that it has to do with how long I have had a Fitbit. I have had one for over 10 years and my husband has only had his for a couple of years.
Best AnswerI went out to Google Play and did a search on it and there is an update out there. For some reason mine did not auto update but I was able to run the update and now the app shows the percentage again
