Issue is NOT solved. I've been through 3 Blaze for numerous reasons. My Alta received notifications with my S8+, the Blaze NEVER has. I have a few Fitbit reps tell me it's an issue they "are working on but no status updates are available at this time". I don't receive calls or texts. I've tried both of my messaging apps and nothing. I'm very frustrated that they cannot get the S8+ to work with their products. Anyone have anything other than the steps available? I've done literally everything.

I'm having the same issue. I'm also having problems with the S8 plus pairing to my blaze. It's frustrating.

Same problem.... I'm convinced the only thing Fitbit is concerned with is making a sale. To hell with tech support. The Blaze has been out quite a while.... The S8 and + since early this year. Wouldn't you think that as a company, they would be sure of things working BEFORE they dupe us into buying them. I read tons of reviews about the Blaze, and frankly, was waiting for the Ionic ... But 300.00 was too rich for my budget. None of the reviews or advertisements for the Blaze informed me it was really just a digital watch. I'm pissed, and tired of no attention from this company. I've read that their stock values have plummeted.... I certainly understand why.
