Blaze Text Message Detail

My blaze shows the full content of each text. I would like for it to only show that I receives a text or just the name of the person texting. I am running Android 7.0 on my Samsung Note 5.

Some messaging apps have a,setting for this. Which app do you use?

I havent heard anything recently, but message + use to just show a message count on the tracker. Have you checked its settings?

I did find it in the Message+ app settings. In the settings, there is a setting titled "Privacy Setting". This is the setting that allows Message+ to show message previews on the status bar and lock screen. I unchecked the box and detail is no longer shown. Now the Blaze just displays that I have a message, but not who from or the message content. One thing to note, that same information no longer shows in my status bar or on my lock screen. It just shows that I have a message there also. Thank you all for your help!

About what shows on the phone, this sounds correct since your Fitbit app simply sends to the tracker what the messaging app srnds to the lock screen.
