I just got a Blaze and an S7 Edge. My Blaze will sync and update my information on the FitBit app, but it will not connect to track my walking or biking via GPS. The location settings are on. I've taken the FitBit app off the phone and reinstalled it. Any suggestions? Buying a new phone or FitBit is not an option since both are brand new.
It seems both have been on the market long enough that they ought to be compatible.
Best AnswerI've had the notifications both "on" and "off." That didn't seem to make any difference. Location has been set for high accuracy, GPS, and Wifi. The Fitbit was still syncing for details, but wouldn't sync with the GPS to record any distance.
After my initial post, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it again. I found that if I keep the app open and then connect from the exercise menu on my Fitbit, then the phone and the Fitbit will sync and the GPS will *mostly* track my ride. It seems to be dropping once-in-awhile and then the stats for distance are lost, but better than no stats at all.
Thanks for responding.
Do you have any other suggestions?

@revkjc The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is currently not listed as a supported device. I recommend keeping an eye on the list as this is where we will be adding it once it's been fully tested by our Android team.
