Blaze overcalculates calories burned .

In exercise mode of blaze I select walk and I walk for 1hour covering a distance of 3.5kms .my weight is 171lbs and the displayed calories shows 508 calories .
When I calculate through other links available in internet it predicts 220 Cal's burned which sounds to be precise .

Can someone advice me on this ? I expected precise calculations from Fit bit blaze but I am dissapointed now.

Welcome to the Community @Vivekselvadurai. The calories your Blaze calculates in any given time period will include not only the calories burned from exercise, but also your BMR calories that are the calories that your body burns just staying alive.

These calories are calculated based on the information you input when you set up your account like gender, age, height and weight. If you think your calories are too high, I recommend double checking these settings, including your units. For example, if you intended to put in that you weigh 140 pounds, and your Fitbit has it set as 140 kg, you are going to burn a lot more calories.

I hope this helps, see you around. Woman Happy
