Fitbit won't sync

I just got the Samsung Galaxy S7 active and my fitbit won't sync to my app on my phone. My Bluetooth doesn't even pick it up. I tried the whole plug it into a charger and hold the button down and still nothing. So I looked up my phone to see if it's compatible and my phone wasn't on there? When will they be compatible? The phone has been out for awhile now. This is disappointing.

Welcome to the Community @Cherrberr9026! It's pretty weird that your Fitbit tracker isn't syncing to your computer, please try this syncing procedure. As you mentioned, your Samsung Galaxy S7 Active isn't supported yet so that may be the reason why it's not connecting to your tracker.

Currently, I don't have any information as when this is going to be supported. However, Fitbit is always adding new devices to the list, so keep an eye on it.

Thanks for your understanding. Hope this helps.

Yes @Cherrberr9026 I understand the S7 is not officially supported but I also know 3 people with the S7 and the Blaze plus have read many posts on the site saying that the S7 works with their Fitbit. This is because many phones especially from the same manufacturer has hardware comparable with older models. this does not mean yours will work but I feel there is a good chance that it will.

So holding the button down, without knowing the tracker, I assume will restart the tracker.

You say your BT won't pick it up, are you using the Fitbit app? Your phones BTsettings screen will not work
