Welcome to the Forums @Jobabygp.

Let me help you figure out what is going on with your Samsung phone.

What phone is it that you are using? Also, do you get some sort of error message that lets you know you have to restart the phone?

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

I'm using a Samsung s5 mini and everytime I try sync I get a message
telling me to restart my Bluetooth or cancel (on the fitbit
app)....selecting to restart my Bluetooth from the error message achieves
nothing, I literally have to reboot/restart my phone, then it'll sync and
only then.

Hello @Jobabygp.

I apologize for the delay in my response. Thanks for your reply and answering my questions.

In this case let's try to restart the connection from scratch. Please follow these steps:

  1. Go into the phone's Bluetooth settings.
  2. There, look for your Fitbit and any other Fitbit devices that might show up as paired devices.
  3. Remove them from the list of paired devices.
  4. Restart your phone.
  5. Run the Set up process once again.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
