From the top of your phone. Do a two finger downward swipe. This gives you quick access to your phones brightness.

Hi @Julie01 are you referring to your phone screen or the display on your fitbit itself?  If it's a problem with the fitbit you will need to say which model it is so someone can maybe help you.
