The reminders to move feature doesn't show any reminders on the Pixel watch 2 if always on display is set to off. This bug should be fixed.

HI, @SlyRunner Welcome to the community. Please advise which watch face you are using.. Have you checked the settings in the Watch app on your phone to ensure mute functions are turned off?

Let us know.

Cheers

Hello @SlyRunner

The Pixel watch team is already aware of this bug where the Pixel Watch 2 will get "phantom" Fitbit notifications (sound & vibration) without the accompanying text screen.

I get "phantom" Fitbit notifications on my Pixel Watch 2 for the Reminder to Move at 50 minutes to the hour, at the end of my Hour Activity schedule, when I meet my step goal for the day. There might be a couple of others. So far, it's been only Fitbit notifications that don't have an accompanying text screen.

Hopefully, there will be an update to the watch firmware or Fitbit app on the watch soon to resolve this annoying bug.

Just adding to that it's not just the Pixel 2. The functionality also broke on the Pixel 1 on one of the updates. I think it was the Wear OS 4 one).

Just letting everyone know this issue still exists with the December feature drop unfortunately (At least for PW1). Seems the notification was easy to break, not as easy to fix. Hopefully it is still being worked on.

Same here.  It is now January, and Wear OS 4 came out in October for the Pixel watch 1 when the Pixel watch two was released.  You would think they have fixed this by now.

Hello @Azric84 , @SlyRunner , @Ramrunner

It seems the issue with the Reminder to Move visual notification was fixed in the recent Fitbit app update for the Pixel watch. Several of us noticed this weekend (05 Jan 2024) that we are now receiving the visual notification, including number of remaining steps. I also see the Goal completed notification after I complete the remaining number of steps for the hour as well as Daily Goal completed at the end of my schedule.

Keep check the Google Play store app on your phone to see if the Fitbit app update is available for you to install.

I received the January update, and it did not fix it. I had to wipe my watch for it to be addressed. I am set now post-wipe. It's a shame I had to wipe and remove all my configured watch faces. Support made me uninstall the Pixel Watch app as well...
