Bug in the Android app

When I earn a new lifetime badge, the previous one does not go in the group with the rest of the respective past badges. They always create a second lifetime miles or floors group. If I log out and back in, they end up correctly in the one lifetime miles or floors group.

Thanks for bringing this issue to my attention @Mwhals! I'll pass it on to our engineering team for research. I'm glad to see you here, BTW Smiley Very Happy

In the meantime, you're saying that the only way to get your badges in the one lifetime miles or floors groups is by logging out and logging back into your app, aren't you?

Try these steps:

  • Log out of your Fitbit App
  • Force quit the App
  • Turn off the Bluetooth
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
  • Turn on the Bluetooth
  • Log back into your Fitbit App

I appreciate your patience with this matter. Let me know if the steps above correct the issue!

It will be a while, because it only happens when I earn another lifetime badge. I am three weeks away from the 20,000 floor badge. I am at a little over 18,000 floors right now.

I had Uninstaller the app before and it did it again when I earned India. In three or four weeks, I will earn the 20,000 floors badge, so I will try the steps prior to then to test since it only happens when I earn a new badge.
