Hello @Annry48, welcome to the Community Forums!
I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Charge 2 are correctly configured.
After verifying the above, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.
Keep me posted.

I have had this issue for awhile on my Samsung. All messages and notifications have been viewed at least once but it tells me I have, depending on the day or time of day, anywhere from 30 to 32 unread messages/notifications on. I have a Versa and it’s up to date as is my Fitbit app and phone.

It's a pleasure to continue providing assistance with this situation, my sincere apologies for the delay in responding.
I'd like to share with you guys that here at Fitbit we are aware of this situation and working towards a resolution as soon as possible. In the meantime we work to resolve this inconvenience, please make sure to have the Fitbit app and operating system up to date. Also, check if the mobile device that's being used with your Fitbit are listed as a compatible device with our products and services, a compatibility concern can cause connection difficulties and affect the notifications feature.
I'll be around.

Been having the same problem with Fitbit charge 2. Wrong notifications.
I've uninstalled then reinstalled. I've let the battery run out, turned my phone off restarted you name it I've done it.
Now this stupid thing just showed some, I don't no whose number and if my phone wasn't in front of me I wouldn't have answered. Technology love to hate it.

I also have this problem on the Moto Z2 Force. Worked fine before the big update that changed the UI, a couple of months ago.
Text messages are now working correctly. I have it set up to show who they are from only and the information in those notifications is correct.
It appears that every phone notification comes from the first person who called me after I rebooted my phone. So all notifications for the phone are wrong.
