The app food log often says I'm underbuget, but also says in the same place that I'm x calories over budget.
Any ideas?

@kellyllek Welcome to the Fitbit Community! That is strange! My best recommendation will be for you to create a food plan. That way you will make sure that all the calories will be correct.
Check this awesome post about food plan created by @SebringDon that will explain all the details regarding the food plan. This problem should be fixed after checking that out.
Let me know how it goes!

I'll try. I thought I already did but I guess I'm not dead sure what the food plan is: I have a weight loss goal in effect and I'm entering every calorie, while fitbit monitors activity. Is the food plan something different?

Hello, @Mwhals, @kellyllek! It is nice to see you around. Thanks for reporting this, I will share it with the rest of my team to further investigate. In the mean time, you can try to log out from the App, reboot your phone and log back in and check if the issue persists, and also try to change the intensity of your Food Plan just to reset it, then you can change it to the one you actually want. You can do it from your online dashboard by following these steps:
1. Click on LOG - Food
2. In the Food Plan window, you see left and right arrows on each side of your food plan status.Click on the right arrow until you come to the Plan Summary
3. Click on Edit Plan.
This should get you back on track, but keep us updated please!
