When I open the FitBit app on my phone, the calorie intake differs when I look at the Dashboard versus when I click on the Food tab.
For example, it will say I have 700 calories left for the day, but when I click on it, it changes to 85 calories left in budget.
I am wondering if this is a glitch, or if the first number is an estimation for how much I can eat for the rest of the day if I reach my calorie output goal, versus how much I can eat as of his moment... because I will be going to work out later today, which means I can eat much more than 85 calories later on, hence the 700 estimation?
Does anyone else experience this?

- Force quit the Fitbit app.
- Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
- Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
- Reboot your mobile device.
- Reinstall the Fitbit app.
- Login using your account credentials.
- Let me know if the issue persists.
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

This is an ongoing manifestation of a variance in the display of information that has been going on in the android app for YEARS.
Will someone please issue a definitive and understandable answer as this keeps coming up?
@RicardoFitbit, it's the app. It's not our phones. Clearing the cache won't help. You better get used to recognising this question because until the app is fixed or makes it's display more explicable you're going to be answering it every couple of months.
@schaefer502 I am sorry to say I sort of understand it for my own purposes but I lack the ability to explain it to anyone else in a coherent form.

I have tried all of the above. Can you tell me which number is correct? My calorie count is one of the most important aspects of my fitbit, so I want to make sure I'm staying on track. Is the first number on the dashboard correct or the one after I open it correct?
