Calorie intake graph is off by 1 day

Hello,

I have a bug in the calorie intake graph - it just decided to skip 1 day in the dasboard. Even if in the day by day list everything is shown correctly, in the graph it's all messed up so i can't follow my calorie plan anymore.

I have the latest update of the fitbit app - 3.74, on Android.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thank you

Today is Friday, but for some reason, the calorie intake/ burned tracker is a day off.

It's clear to see from the photo the incongruity of the information. The detailed cute shows I've only had 661 calories, but the graph shows 1900, which was my intake date from the previous day.

Photo couldn't be attached. Data seems correct and appropriate on web page, just off on app.

Very frequently, particularly when looking at the calories in/out page, it is automatically pulling "yesterday" instead of "today" and it is throwing me off a lot. I keep saying what the heck I didn't even eat anything yet and then I notice it.

Hi @MoooseJuice - on the main phone Fitbit App page, there is an Edit button top right, if it is not there it's an easy indicator to show you might be looking at the wrong day.

However it could simple be syncing issue, pull down on the page to do a manual sync. See also Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If sync is the issue log out of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window, and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it.

Restart both phone and watch - How do I restart my Fitbit device?  often clears up the problem.

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members. @Guy_ Thanks for your help.

@sculeru@Cflo73 and @MoooseJuice I've moved your posts to this new thread so we can keep the forums organized. Thanks for bringing this to our attention and the screenshots provided. In addition to @Guy_'s suggestion, please make sure the Fitbit app is updated to the 3.75 version which was recently released. Once that is done, try logging your food one more time to see if your data shows up correctly afterward.

If by any chance the issue persists, please reply back with the model and OS version of your phone so I can investigate on my end.

Welcome to the community, @RussianBear.

Thanks for joining this thread. Because your post didn't mention, please confirm if you've tried the following steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and log back in to your account.
  4. Pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  5. Tap the food tile and check if the graph shows the right information.

I have the same issue since a few days:

I took some more screenshots that illustrate this is actually a bug in the app and definitely not wrong tracking.

Note how Monday, 19th, appears with 2390 kcal tracked:

When I click on the day, though, it shows the 2940 calories of Sunday, 18th:

monday_as_sunday.pngAlso, today is Tuesday, yet today's logged calories are already attributed to Wednesday, tomorrow and the numbers for “today” are actually Monday's numbers.

I restarted my phone, force killed the app and cleared it's cache, reinstalled it and manually synced, but the issue persists.

The App version is 3.83.1, my phone is a Pixel 6 Pro.
