Calories burned on App and Desktop not correct

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I use MFP to log food and manual exercises (found out logging cardio gets rid of my activity time on my Fitbit).  My problem is that my calories has reset to 97 on my app and desktop.  I know this is not correct when I started the morning with over 500 burned already.  Any clue of what happened or how to fix it?  I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but nothing changed.  My desktop is also showing the 97 calories burned.  Thanks.

Hello @kmdeitrick, always it's nice to have new members in the Fitbit Community!

Have you experienced this issue on a daily basis or it happened only one time? Certainly this is not a normal behavior, but I don't believe the integration of MFP is lowering your calories in my opinion.

If your calories still are low and the issue persist, my recommendation is to try with restarting your tracker. I saw in your Community profile you have a Fitbit Flex so the steps to restart your tracker are the following:

Plug your charging cable into the USB port and insert your tracker into the charging cable.

Insert a paperclip into the small pinhole on the back of the charger.

Press on the pinhole for 3-4 seconds.

Note that your calories for that specific day wont be fix, but if the issue persists, it will help to reset the internal software of your tracker in case there is any inaccuracy at the moment to read your calories.

Keep me posted if you have more questions.

@RobertoME,

Thank you for your help, I have done the following and it has not made any difference.  Today is the second day.

1.  Uninstalled/Reinstalled mobile app

2.  Revoked Access to MFP

3. After revoked Access to MFP, restarted my pebble

4.  Today I unpaired and paired back my Flex to my mobile app

5.  Did live chat last night with Fitbit support, they could not help me.  They sent my request to an engineer.

Now it is not logging activity minutes or calories burned.  It is still logging my steps and water intake, but that is it. 😞

I appreciate the help, but nothing seems to be getting resolved at the moment.
