Calories left on app do not match with online Dashaboard

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The number of calories left on the food log does not match with the website or the tile on my app dashboard. I have updated the app and have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but nothing has changed. This started after the last update to the app. I have an android phone.

Hello @JL-TX and @ghlover, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community.

@ghlover I have merged your post in to this thread in order to keep sorted the community and maintain focus of this issue within the same topic.

Usually when you have a food plan, the food tiles does not match when it's about the calories.

if you noticed on my screenshot, both tiles say different amount of calories. Since one is going to let you know the comparison between your calories intake vs the calories burned. While the other tile is subtracting the deficit of calories you have for the Food plan, minus the amount of calorie consumption to give you the amount of calories you need to eat to reach your target.

The tile in the app, is a combination of these two tiles and should match with the tile of calories left. Not with the Calories In vs. Out

If this is not the case, would you mind to share some screenshots with me? This will be helpful to have a closer look to find a solution or the explanation why is happening this.

Keep me posted how it goes. I'll be looking forward to your response.

These are screenshots of the two I was referring to. The calories left are
not the same.

Apparently they know and are working on it..as you stated it took place after the last update....extremely frustrating. ....my friends that have iPhones, their  dashboard and tile remaining calories match so it's us android users having this issue...big difference in #'sDashboardDashboard

Hello @JL-TX and @baisdent, thank you for the screenshots. I can see now what is the issue with the calories.

Thank you for your patience and for any other additional questions keep me posted.

Has the issue with calories left not matching been fixed yet?

Best Answer

Nope. .sure wish they would hurry up and fix it....doesn't seem like it should take this long.

Does anyone know if there has been ANY movement on this getting corrected? This seems to me like a major glitch and since they know it happened on the last upgrade,  why can't that portion of the code be reversed! This Is Ridiculous It's Taking This Long To Fix!

Hello @Heholt, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community and good to see you again @baisdent. At the moment our product teams are still working to fix this glitch. I can understand this feature is an essential part of the app and we are working hard to roll a fix any time soon.

I appreciate all your patience. Stay tuned to the Community for more updates.

I still see this issue has not yet been corrected?

I started using the food tracker and throughout the day it tends to work just fine. However, I was looking through my app dashboard today and when going through my history it says I ate 0 calories but then if I look at the detailed log it lists all of the things I tracked and lets me know if I was under or over.

Nope, hasn't been fixed no replies recently even indicating they're trying
to fix this. Pretty disappointing given it is a pretty big malfunction. Oh
well, maybe I need to look into getting a Garmin tracker, everyone I know
who has one has no complaints like this.

I purchased my Fitbit verse yesterday and have found this issue. Disappointing that the product owner has known about this for so long and not fixed it. Selling a product at this price point it’s really just not good enough. If you can’t get your product to do what you claim it’s going to do, don’t continue to sell it!

Same issue here. Got mine for Christmas 2018. Headed into February 2019 and it is not fixed. No wonder I've been so hungry and grumpy. Common' Fitbit. How hard can it be? You won't force me to buy an iPhone
