Camera option in the Community Feed crashes the app

I've had this problem since December and actually stopped using the communities part of the app for the longest time. I stopped using Fitbit for a few months soon after. I've now got a new Inspire HR and really want to use the communities again to help with accountability, but it's really annoying that I still can't take photos within that part of the app. I reinstalled the Fitbit app, updated it, and my phone, and still unable to take photos within the communities.

It worked on my Samsung A8 phone back in November, and just randomly stopped in December. I was hoping with time this glitch would have been fixed since I reported it before. I have a Samsung A8, Android version 9. Any idea why this feature doesn't work?

Hi @csherwin, welcome back to the Community!

I'm glad to hear that you got the Inspire HR, and thanks for the troubleshooting steps that you've tried prior posting. I see where are you coming from, and I'm sorry that the camera option from the Feed hasn't been working properly. I've verified that your phone is a fully supported device and just to confirm, do you have the same experience when using that option in a different phone or tablet? Does it happen with either "Photo" or "Before & After"?

I look forward to your reply.

I dont have another device to test on unfortunately. The camera option in
all community posting doesnt work (camera, before/after, changing
backgrounds on the others either using camera).

It does work when I want to change my profile picture in My profile section
which is weird. It's only in the Community that it crashes.

Thanks for your help. Hopefully we can figure out whats happening.
