I have a Charge 2 and was excited about the 2.45 update with the sleep tracking, but it has rendered me completely unable to get any sense of how much time I slept. Time spent reading is counted as REM, and I can no longer see the pop-ups for what times I was awake (as others have mentioned). I have a sleep disorder and use my FitBit to track the different things that affect my quality of sleep, so that I can adjust, and so this is very frustrating.
Also, the 'Active Minutes' seem wonky now. Monday I sat mostly at my desk and it logged 36 minutes. Yesterday I was back and forth between buildings carrying equipment and up and down stairs all day and it logged 0. This morning I am already at 11 minutes, apparently just from coming up a flight of stairs and making coffee?
My Charge HR is only a few months old and seemed to work about the same as the Charge I had before it, prior to this, so I don't think it's the device. Firmware version is 22.22.48.14.
I just want things back to the way they were. 😞

I forgot to mention, I have the FitBit sleep setting to 'sensitive' on my dominant hand.

I came here with the same problem. I have spondyloarthritis which causes me to have very bad back pain. Any time I toss and turn, I am awake and am trying to get comfortable.
, so I was using the sensitive setting since without it it, the fitbit thinks I'm just a wiggling sleeper. I was so excited for sleep atages, and now I have no clue how much sleep I actually got because it keeps telling me I got a ton. (Ex. The other night it said I got 10 hours and 40 minutes. I typically get a little over half of my time in bed counting as sleep and not restless/awake.) I feel so much better if I check my app to see how much actual sleep I got and if it's under 4 hours, I try to fall back asleep. I don't know why the sleep stages don't account for the sensitivity setting!
