Last night as I was falling asleep, my fitbit suddenly logged 60,000 steps to my day. I have no idea why or how this happened. I would like to correct this as I obviously did not take 60,000 steps. Is there any way to correct this?

How do I delete steps and floors in the Fitbit app?
You can’t delete steps and floors; instead, log a non-step-based activity such as driving to override the steps or floors:
- Tap the Today tab
- On the Exercise tile
, tap the + icon > Log or Log Previous.
- Choose Driving as the exercise type. Make sure the exercise details overlap with the time period your device logged the unwanted steps or floors.
- Tap Add or Log it. Your steps, floors, and calories burned will decrease for the time period you specified.

I'd like to know as well. I have 55,000 for the other day. Should be more like 40. Did you hear back?

@Luv2hike13 find the period in time that these steps where recorded then follow the steps that @JohnnyRow posted
