Can't Sign In With Google

I moved my account a few days ago.

Today, I can't log in to the app (But I can to the dashboard on the web).

I click on sign in with Google. My Google ID shows up, then I get:

Something went wrong - Please Try again.

I have tried it for hours.

I did all the recommendations in other threads (Restart phone, clear cache, reinstall app, vpn, etc.) to no avail.

Version 3.83.1.1.fitbit-mobile-38346051

Android Version 13

Latest updates for both.

I read about a version 3.84 being available, but it is not on the play store.

Thanks

Hello everyone. Thanks for reaching out regarding logging into your account using the "Google Sign In" option.

I appreciate the explanation. First make sure that the Fitbit app is up to date. Recently the 3.87 version was released. This is a general issue that was affecting some users. The workaround was to try a different internet network. Do give that a try. Please let me know if you receive an error message while trying to log in.

@SheliaW would you be so kind to share what you were experiencing, which error messages where shown and how you were finally able to resolve this? That would help other users as well. Thanks in advance.

I moved my Fitbit Aspire 3 to Google today and was not able to sign in with Google.  I got the option but it was non-reactive.  I took your advice and switched off WiFi.  Bingo! Thank you!

The problem is Google, not Fitbit. I got mine working by uninstalling/reinstalling the Fitbit app, then restarting my phone.
