Can't edit an activity

If I let my Fitbit Versa auto detect the activity, like Walk or Outdoor Bike, I can edit the activity.

If I select an exercise on my Versa like Elliptical or Outdoor Bike, etc, I can't edit the activity afterwards.

I only get the option to delete.

Am I doing something wrong or is it a limitation in the software.

I find the indoor activities are not very accurate and would like to edit things like calories to match the values from the gym equipment.

A correction to my post. I thought you could change the auto detected activities but it looks like even for them, the only thing you can change is the name.
