On the new app, on Android on a pixel 7.
The Edit Exercise panel allows me to properly edit Date, Start time and Duration, but the keyboard is not showing up when I try to update the Activity.

They to do away with our fitbit watches, and the fitbit app. I think that's why they are removing features.
This article states what I just said. I'm assuming the moderator will remove my post, but maybe a few can read it.
This issue is still persisting, using an Inspire 3 band and v.4.23 on Android 14. I can now type the Activity* I want to edit, and pick the new one from the drop down list - but when I press save it reverts back to the "Elliptical Auto"!! Ditto for trying to change duration, start time, or # calories burnt
I'd much prefer the feature to be fixed! I want to have semi accurate sports data from my exercise, as that was the entire point of me buying the Fitbit in the first place
Hello @MattPS @Amywalks941
There was a partial fix to this issue that allowed us to do some workout editing. However, the issue has resurfaced.
The issue has been escalated and the team is working on a fix. Unfortunately, there isn't a timeline for the rollout of the fix.

Best Answer@RiekoC Where did you hear this: "team is working on a fix"
My self and another user have both chatted with support in the last week and they've indicated that fitbit no longer supports editing workouts that have been tracked by a Fitbit device. So what issue are they working to fix?
Hello @Vonny3492
A member of the Fitbit support team, a Google employee, confirmed that the bug affecting the ability to edit a completed workout in the Fitbit app was escalated & that the team is working on fix.
That's all that I can share for now.

@agentmidnight i remember that, several months after this problem was reported in September of last year. It has been almost a full year. They aren't even trying. We will slowly leave and they will dupe newcomers into buying the pixel watch.
New September 5, 24 update still haven't resolved issue. We still can't edit completed workouts to different exercise type or user defined exercise types.
Does anyone know if this problem exists if you have a Pixel watch? I would assume it does since the problem is with the app, not the tracker.
