I have had my Samsung S2 Tablet paired with my Fitbit Charge 2 since 2017 with no problems until recently when ny Fitbit wouldn't sync. After trying all suggestions for correcting failed, as a last resort, I uninstalled the Fitbit app. When I tried to reinstall there was a message saying my device was not compatible with the app, and there was no install button, of course. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hi @AC6381 the minimum system to use the Fitbit app is Android 8. Once removed, you can't get the old app back and you're pretty much stuck. All the mobile devices have requirements to use the apps. Sorry this happened to you, but there is no workaround for this issue. If you have a compatible computer or tablet, you could still use it to sync your data. Your post was moved to the Android area of the forum for more relevant responses.

Welcome to the Community, @AC6381. I appreciate the assistance provided @Odyssey13 😁.
@AC6381 Adding to what @Odyssey13 mentioned above, please check if your tablet can be updated to Android 8 so you can download the Fitbit app again to sync your Charge 2. If you have another mobile device (phone / tablet) you can check here if it's compatible with Fitbit so you can use it.
Hope this helps.
