No problems here.  Could you be more specific about "just not work"?

Which phone?

So you have the app on your phone but you cannot log in.  What kind of message do you get - that it's the wrong password or anything else?

Try looking at the fitbit.com dashboard to see if you can get into that and see history data there, though maybe not since haven't been able to get into app.  If get into fitbit.com dashboard, click on gear icon at top right, then settings.  It will show the email it is using; make sure you are using the same one on the phone app.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @tonogld. It's nice to see you around, @Rich_Laue @JohnnyRow.

@JohnnyRow @Rich_Laue thank you for your support!

@tonogld I am sorry to hear you and your wife are having difficulty with logging into your Fitbit accounts. I appreciate your efforts to resolve this and I am here to help. Thank you for confirming that your email address and password are correct as you're able to log into fitbit.com dashboard. Our team has recently released a new version of the Fitbit app. Please make sure you have downloaded the new version by following these instructions

If you continue experiencing difficulties, I recommend checking if you have turned on "Set automatically" for date and time on your phone: open your Android settings > tap General > tap Date & Time > and then toggle "Set Automatically" on.

If the issue persists, please reply back with your phone's model and OS version so I can further investigate.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

that setting was already chosen and we have the lattest version of the app on our phones, nothing works, cant even log into the app.i have a moto g6 w/ android version 9, my wife has a pixel 3xl, she's not w/me right now, so not sure what OS she has. we both have t-mobile. the only thing in common w/ the phones is that we both run ipvanish vpn, but we have the vpn set to allow fitbit to bypass, though it doesn't work either way (w/ or w/out the vp

Hi @tonogld, thank you for your reply.

I appreciate your efforts and the additional details. Have you tried to turn off WiFi on your phone and then try to log in using your cellular data?

You can find additional tips for Android phones at What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?

Looking forward to your response.

If it is saying can not connect to Fitbit.com, the app is in a state no well written app should get into,

Force stop it and try again.

This is done by Settings/ Applications/ find the app/ select it/ select Force stop.

Hope this helps for Android users.

On another thread a user reported that updating the Fitbit app fixed this issue. A couple of days ago a new android version was released.
