I've tried everything suggested in this forum and I still can't log into the app. Worked fine up until then, just decided one night that my password was incorrect and it won't let me use the new password. I can log into the browser just fine, so it's not my account. Frankly, I'm kind of tired of dealing with these issues. I shouldn't have to do this much work to have access to something I pay for.

Hi @MathisRyan - there seems to be an issue with some Fitbit logins, for example with saved passwords.when accessing the community requiring a login it may incorrectly prompt for password recovery but it still works if the name and password are entered manually, or you go to the phone browser accounts.fitbit.com and use the saved password.
For the app problem on Android swipe off any Fitbit App window, clear the storage cache and force stop it reboot the phone and try again.
